    First Time Seeing Snow

Max at 7 1/2 months first time seeing snow. He loved it. Our Husky Frost was in her element. Max tried to run her down in the snow, but Frosti just laughed at him. We only got 3 or 4 inches Fri night into Saturday morning. Most of it was gone by yesterday. These pictures were from Saturday morning. Max liked eating the snow and chasing snow balls. He would try and chase the husky but she would stop and turn on a dime and Max would go rolling. Frosti spent 4 years in NH and was from a sled dog kennel so snow is in her blood. It wasn't new and novel to her.

Looks like a fun time. So far we've only had a dusting. I'm not complaining, mind you!

First snows are so much fun! Your Frosti is absolutely stunning, she definitely looks like a very happy camper! I was laughing at your description of Max trying to keep up with Frosti! Silly boy, I bet that was a bit confusing.

Thanks. Frosti enjoyed jus laying in the snow and curling up for a nap. She is now in a role reversal. Even though there was only 2 yrs between her and our 12 yo golden, she was the puppy and very much acted like it up until Bonnie was put down at Thanksgiving. She would be the annoying one. Bonnie would just want to sleep, or lay around and Frosti would antagonize her and want to play. Now Frosti wants to lay around and Max just wants to play.

Over Christmas, we took our then 10 month old yellow lab to the snow for the first time. She absolutely loved it! It was so much fun to see her playing and it, and the kids had a great time running around with her. I loved reading how your Max loved eating the snow and chasing snowballs.

Yea, Max doesn't have a chance against Frosti in the white stuff. Gorgeous husky.
