Thanks! Picture on the right he was exactly 9 weeks old, picture on the left he is 12.5 weeks old (taken yesterday). He weighs around 15lbs, but the owner of the parents said his parents were both right around 65llbs.

He is really cute. He seems a bit small for 12 weeks. Based on many dogs i have had take his weight at 16 weeks and double it +- 5 to 10 lbs should be his final adult weight.

    Just have loads of fun

He looks like probably a mix (w/ some Lab), and ridiculously adorable. So cute. Certainly looks Lab enough to find fans around here—post more photos.

Pluto? I love that name and he is one cute pup. It really doesn't matter if your pup is purebred or not. He is your baby and by the looks of him you are very lucky to have such a sweet pup! He will reward you with love with no expectations in return!

I don't know, his first photo looks pretty lab-like to me, his others maybe less so, but as someone else said, in the first months sometimes legs look too long or ears look a little funny but it all evens out in the end. His weight seems a bit low but a lot depends on the parents. And one of my dogs, whose background I know to be all labrador, I've had people ask if he's some other breed just because he doesn't look like the labs they're accustomed to seeing.

Pluto is super cute, though, that's for sure! Looks like you have children, too, based on the sandbox photo. Some pups can be real diggers, so maybe letting him dig in the sandbox and only the sandbox could save your yard some unintended landscaping! We look forward to hearing more about you and Pluto and if we can be of any help, let us know!

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Pluto is a cute little guy, definitely a lot of Lab looking qualities, but the only true way to find out is genetic testing.

Pluto is a sweetie. I wouldn't worry too much about whether he is pure bred or not. In Canada the only dogs that are considered purebred must be registered with the CKC. So if you are not considering performance events but just to have him as the adorable pet he is then why worry about a label. Just say he is a lab and most people won't argue the fact.
