What? You have another thread called Pitiful Puppy? Is puppy sick? I can't tell if it's a joke, the faces don't look very sad to me. Hope they are both ok.

I think there's no health issue about your doggy! Look at that face

Rooney had diarrhea though the middle of the night on Tuesday and then began throwing up Wed morning. Off to the vet we went. At first vet was concerned about parvo but since she hasn't had any exposure he was pretty sure it was giardia (sp?) due to the large amount of wildlife traipsing through our yard this time of year (deer, raccoons, bunnies and coyotes to name a few).

He sent us home with Metrocozidine (just guessing at the exact name as it is home in the fridge) that she gets twice a day for seven days and put her on prescription canned food (which we already have because of Piper) until vomit ceased and stools hardened.

She threw up two more times during the day on Wed and we were giving her syringes of pedialite since she wasn't particularly thirsty. She made it through Wed night with no incidents and by Thurs morning stools were beginning to take shape (the things you talk about with a baby).

She is back to her old self now, albeit particularly hungry but it was so sad to see her pitiful. She is usually a pretty cheerful girl and of course loves to hang on Piper's face and chomp on her ears but on Wed she was either sleeping with Jada or me or lying across Piper (which if she is her normal self, usually means climbing back and forth as if Pipe were a mountain.

Anyway, happy to have our obnoxious baby back, even if Jada really did enjoy taking journal entries of EVERY activity and the condition of "it" when she was sick....
