    Bear -- 12 Weeks

Bear turns 12 weeks old tomorrow. He was at the vet on Saturday for his puppy booster. He was 26.5 pounds. He's getting better with his commands and has discovered that he can run! We had to make his kennel bigger. He is getting the potty training, although MUCH slower than Maverick did. He does go to the door and he rarely has any accidents, but I think sometimes he forgets that he's supposed to go outside and just stops to pee. It's only carpet and he is a baby. Him and Maverick are absolutely in love with each other. They play hard and sleep even harder. I love it!

    Love that little Bear!

Maybe taking him out after/during hard play. His little mind is on other things rather than the fact that he has to go.

He is so cute and Maverick is so good. Does Bear only have his little pee accidents on the carpet? I read long ago that carpet has some kind of pee stimulus when their little feet feel it. And he is very young. I had to increase the number of times we went out to potty when they were actively playing in the house.

Good looking boy. More training trips outside. Training, training, training- and then he will get the idea.

I love the looks of Bear. He looks really stocky, is he? When I compare him to Brian, Brian looks daintier I guess is the word I'm looking for lol. Your guy looks hefty! Looks like he is going to be a big dog? He is a week older then mine, but Bear looks lots bigger at least in your photos I absolutly love the photo of him and Maverick

He usually only has accidents on the linoleum. We can't see around the partial wall to where the door out is. He does have an occasional accident on the carpeting. It's really only about once per week. Bear is pretty stocky. He was 26.5 pounds on Saturday and is probably just over 27 now. He has thick legs and a deep long chest. We think he will be pretty large as his dad weighs 93 pounds. We try to keep him lean. A lot of the pics I took yesterday he looked downright skinny.
