So I don't have any issues bringing her in with me when I come inside. I thought she might enjoy being outside in the backyard for a few while we we're inside doing other things. We have a rod-iron fence that runs along an adjacent street and our property sits up on a hill. She appears to like to watching cars and people in the neighborhood walk by which is why I leaver her out in the backyard for a few. It seems like when she has to go pee, she decides to do it either right outside the back slider or somewhere near it on the concrete patio. I'm just puzzled as to why she won't go by herself over to the grass spot and do it. It's only about 20-25 feet away from the slider/patio.
If she's been inside for a while and I let her out to pee, she will not run over on her own to her spot. If I start walking that direction and get about 15 feet near the spot, she will run by me and pee where she's supposed to. She won't pee in any other spot on the grass which is good.
Could this be something that is just occurring because she's 7 months old? She's gotten very big since when we brought her home so sometimes I forget she's still just a pup.
Ideally I would like her to just go over to her spot whenever she's outside and has to go. That's it! haha
