    Me too. Self study of a text book I can do just fine. But if you want me to co-ordinate movement with thought with voice I need detailed steps and analysis of everything in person. And then I can still get it wrong.

    I like the one on one aspect of being taught. And besides I've never taken a dog to a trainer so I think it may be a good thing for me. I can learn a lot from someone who does this all the time.
    I think it will benefit both me and Brian.
    I misunderstood, I thought your schedule didn't permit getting to class.
    So, go for it.

    When the trainer is standing in front of the room looking at a video screen on the back wall telling him what to next, that'll make you wonder.
    When puppy training is advertised to include socialising with other dogs but you find they're not permitted to interact there, that'll make you wonder.
    When you talk to a trainer on the phone for big dollar private lessons and she's reading you a book that you've already read, that'll make you wonder.

    That probably would make me wonder ... but I have never had an experience remotely like that.
