Thank you! I will be sure to take another sample in a few weeks (my vet already requested I do so). He's such a sweet boy and just wants to please.

He is adorable. Glad to hear he is on the mend!
Two full doses of the antibiotics and two nights of no pee in the crate. First night I stuck to the two hours, then four hours, followed by two hours. Last night I moved it to 2.75 hours and then I woke up at 0400 so I figured I'd take him out. Then up at 0700. Feels great and I'm sure he feels great knowing he did a good job and didn't have to lay in pee! We do have some seriously loose stool so I cooked up a bunch of rice and boiled chicken to feed him. I add 1/2 cup of his kibble just so he doesn't lose the taste for it. I have some probiotics and pumpkin digestion aid. We will make it through!
Thanks for all the great advice on this one. I think we are headed for success now!
He is doing fantastic now!! The loose stool stopped yesterday AM poop. Yippy! 3rd night no pee. Pet sitter said no pee yesterday in crate when she arrived. When I got home, no pee. This morning he was running around the house with those ears back and his mouth open! So adorable. My boy is 100% (I know to finish out the meds). I am so relieved. :image023:
