We use an XL Chuck It with Jake (a VERY skinny 78 lbs with a giant head and mouth). Our favorite ball for general purposes is the Erratic Ball. He pops the orange tennis-style balls way too easily, and he simply will NOT retrieve the glow ball (must smell or taste bad, because he LIVES to retrieve).

It took 6 months to wear out our first Chuck It handle - just replaced it. The plastic fatigues over time. It gets used daily, weather permitting.

We use the 'Chuckit' and and it works great. I'm what you'd call whimpy when it comes to throwing a ball, so the chuckit works great because I'd never be able to throw the distance I can when I use the chuckit. My dog's a bit weird.....she gets really bored fetching a ball when I throw it for her on land, but if I throw her ball in the water for her, she will fetch it for hours on end. On land, maybe 3 or 4 times if I'm lucky, in the water, I have to finally tell her when enough is enough!

Chuckit is God's gift to us Labrador parents... all of ours fit regular tennis balls, so Medium size. We have the extra long one with grip that stays in my car for long water retrieves at state parks. We have 2 of the smallest ones, one in each of our cars, for impromptu dog park trips. We have the indoor Chuckit. We also have 4 regular sized ones, one at each of my parents' house, one at Pat's parents' house, and one at our apartment for use in our apartment dog park. So we have a total of 8 Chuckits. I don't know what on earth I would do without one.

LOVE our ChuckIt! We have two launchers, the medium length and long length. Both fit tennis ball sized balls in them. Could not exercise Dio as easily without it.

We use the 25m launcher M sized one (the one that fits normal tennis balls) its great! We don't normally use tennis balls though because after 2 throws our doggie has put wholes in it and its useless. The actual chuck it balls are great! They don't break and the only way you need to stop using them is if you loose them! There is also a great range (high bounce, erratic bounce, whistler, roller, floating etc) so it can add whole new dimensions to fetch which we love. One of our personal favourites is the glow in the dark one - we love playing glow in the dark fetch - its a lot of fun
Couldn't live without the chuck it - so much fun!

We use ours daily-medium size! Murphy only likes squeaky tennis balls. They fit perfectly in the chuckit.

I use one that uses tennis ball sized balls. I got the small one because my yard is small. It's also a convenient size to stick in my pack for a hike. Sam goes nuts over the launcher. He wants it as badly as the ball and actually chewed the end one day when I didn't watch closely enough and it was within his reach. It's much nicer to use than picking up slobber soaked balls. The regular Chuck It balls fall apart pretty easily but they have rubber ones too and it uses tennis balls which hold up well.

I use it every time i take milo to the beach. He loves the thing, however he only likes the rubber ChuckIt brand balls, medium sized. He does not like any other kind of ball.

That's funny! Sprockette is the same way, she only wants the Ultra or whistler balls...
