I cant remember the last time I did anything without canine assistance. That would just feel strange actually. I dont think id like it if I didnt have my little line of dogs behind me at all times

What about getting someone else to play with him while you are doing yard work? My husband is great about distracting my lab and corgi when i need him too

What about killing 2 birds with one stone and using that time to teach him some alternate behaviors? Does he know how to "go to bed" or "place" on command? Sit or down-stay? Understand that it will take you 10 times as long to complete a chore at first, but if you can use the time to train him and keep his mind busy, I believe it would help you.

Moses knows a lot of commands..
Just did some weeds earlier this week ( hotter then heck)..gave Moses a Kong..but he had no interest in it (since i was a ground level)
He wanted the weeds from my hands.
It will not take 10 times longer but 100 times longer..but i am willing to work with him.
Moses is like no lab I ever had
But you gotta love the one your with...

Moses sounds like a peach! He'd be more than welcome here. 11 months old, he wants to be with you. As he gets older, it will change a little. And then you will miss that "in your face" contact.

Definitely gotta love the one your with...and you have a Winner in Moses. And just remember, the love you make is equal to the love you take.

    Enjoy it!
