    None of Sunnie's puppies "went" in the crate. Not all of them "went" in the designated area, either, though, for a while. We had an 8 x 8 pen for them and an Akita-sized crate keeping one corner of the pen stabilized. They liked their crate.

    Start with a Small crate or a big crate with a moving divider.

    Also secure it. One day we came home to her moving the crate around so much that all the knobs in our bedroom drawer as the crate snapped .

    We used to use a small crate under blanket in our camper. One night we take the cover off to see that she is grown so much that she had no place. Yet she never complained and went in slept all trip till i removed the blanket one night....yes dogs are crazy. She had some pee accidents as a puppy but other than that by 7 months was fully solid as we left her alone for 5-7 hr without issues.
