    Training treat bag

What’s your favorite training treat bag? I’m partial to small ones that clip on your belt. I need a new one.

I don't use them, but my friend really likes the Starmark Pro-Training Treat Pouch for Dogs. I'm thinking of getting one for hiking.

I simply put a plastic snack bag in my vest pocket.

I'd tried several kinds in the past and ended up just using a plastic baggie stuffed into my front jeans pocket.

I'm a plastic bag in the pocket guy. I figure if the treats always come out of my pocket, and I always have pockets, the dogs will assume there are treats in there. I think if they get used to seeing them come out of a bag, they may think you don't have any treats if the bag isn't there.

Oh, they know when you do and do not have treats in your pockets! But the treat pouch is definitely more of a lure. For a pet dog or out hiking or out in public, I don't think that is an issue at all.

I'm a pocket-treater as well. Which is why I have to keep my laundry basket tucked away in the closet because Thor will spread out all my dirty clothes looking for forgotten treats!

I use my pocket. The dog can get trained on the visual aspect of the treat pouch too. We have a girl in class with a Australian shepherd and we were working on fronts, and her dog was always off center. Teacher took her treat bag away and the dog started coming to front correctly...not centered on the treat bag! Confused the dog for a few tries though!

Thanks for all the responses! I am using a plastic bag or my pants pocket, but I wanted to graduate to a real bag that I can quickly grab and attach to my shorts or belt for potty reinforcements! :-) I'm looking at that one you posted JollyMolly!
