Sometimes I snuggle with Presto in bed and then put him in his crate when it's time to sleep. They get a "night-night cookie" each night, so I'll put those in the room on the dresser and when he needs to go in his crate, I get up and get the treat and he runs into his crate. That could be a good middle ground for you while also teaching your pup that beds are for sleeping, not wrestling. You could work on him sleeping on the blanket at the end of the bed, too.

That’s a great idea! Diggity gets bedtime biscuits in his crate too, so it wouldn’t be hard to get him in there to sleep!
