We had a pool when we lived in Florida and my other 2 labs, Ginger and Sophie loved playing in it for hours. I really miss that activity but we have a lot of lakes and rivers here in N.C. that we will take Amber to this summer. That is great you have found a place to take your pup to swim!

Wow he does not even look like a puppy anymore. He is a natural. So glad you found something he loves. Was he tiered afterwards?

Thanks! He was both tired and amped up. The other two dogs we did it with are all similar ages (one is actually his sister) and they all reported similar post-swim behavior. His sister did zoomies all around her yard when she got home. Funny!

Fun! We have a local into pool similar, but it's regulation dock-diving size, so really huge. I take the boys a few times a year for private swims. Presto might be a dock diver when he's older, but the other two are dock ploppers.

Love it! Last year when I first took Asher swimming it was for fun and to fill in a few appointments Samson had that he couldn't make. And boy, did Asher love diving in. Unfortunately it was after an intense session in the pool that he first held up his front leg. I had high hope of getting him into diving since he loved it. Diggity looks awesome! It is so much fun watching them. Have fun! Can't wait to see more pictures and video!

OMG that does look fun. There is no limit to what you can do with Labs. The one thing that seems consistent from one "type" to another is that they love a challenge. Well... that and food. They love their food. And your bed... with you in it. Drool... they all do a lot of that. Oh, and love-junkies. (But other than that... they're all different.)
