    Pool diving!

I started a 6-week “Get Wet” class yesterday with Diggity. It’s where he gets introduced to an indoor pool and learns how to jump off a ramp and swim back to the ramp and climb back up. We’re also working on retrieves to the hand. He loved every second of it!! He took to it incredibly fast and the trainer remarked at how smart he is and how good he is at it. I can’t wait to see what we learn in the next 5 lessons.

Here he is after trying on Sprocket’s old life jacket. It fit him with room to grow!!

And here is a video from yesterday. He went right between the trainer’s legs on his way up! What a champ!

It’s a really nice facility. It’s about an hour from my house, though, so a tad inconvenient. Still, I am going to do this 6-week class and see how it goes. They let you rent the pool by the half hour or hour and it’s not crazy expensive, so I might give that a try too. I swear I’ve never seen him so happy as he was yesterday. He loved it.

What a great facility, especially if you are in a cold climate (frozen now) or don't have a pool. If you do have your own pool, will they teach Diggity how to climb the ladder to get out? Our neighbours have done that with their dogs.

    I don’t have a pool unfortunately. Wish I did!
