    Yay! We tried it once at a show and loved it, but there really isn't anywhere close enough to practice on a regular basis. I do know several people who compete regularly, and one who is in the process of becoming a judge.

    So this is the part that I think is so important. You get a young lab and everyone has a vague idea of what-I'm-gonna-do-with-my-dog but they never actualize anything. These dogs like to DO things and they are so exceptionally bred to want to do things WITH YOU. Whatever it is, pick something and really work on it with your dog!!!

    Totally agree. That’s why I’m trying multiple things to see what he likes, what he’s good at, and what I like to do with him. At some point, we’ll pick one or two things to focus on. Lucky for me, he’s been good at everything so far!

    Love this!!! I agree 100% ... I don't think it even matters what you do, but find something.
