Molly was baby gated in the laundry room and she jumped over the gate when she was excited. The gate is tall already, so the crate is for her safety. Molly's mom posted about in a prior thread :-). The crate can't go in the laundry room with an open door because then there would be no point to having the crate.

I would try the crate in your room, Molly's mom. You could also put something that smells like you in the crate or next to it to reassure her, like a shirt or towel.

Do you place the yogurt in the food bowl or let him eat it off the spoon?
