Thanks all of you. Latte's shots have just completed and we went out today. Yay! And I'm glad there was no humping today.

I have to just add that Latte is just about the cutest thing these days! I know, off subject

I agree with everyone, humping can mean just about anything. Little Ellie got humped into the dirt the other day by an enormous, neutered pitbull after they had been playing really well for about ten minutes. It looked to me as if he just got overly excited by their play and was dominating her. When the owner didn't intervene, I did, as I could see that she didn't like it and he out weighed her by about 60 pounds. The second I pulled him off her, she came right back in to play with him, so it obviously didn't impact her even in the short term.

As an aside, my previous spayed female, when playing with her only female friend (another spayed female lab) would sometimes get overly excited by their jumping around with a toy and hump her.

Congratulations on the vaccine quarantine ending! Now the fun can really begin!

I just wanted to thank Snowshoe for warning me about yeasty ears. Latte did have yeasty ears and she is having a treatment for that these days. After Snowshoe mentioned me about that possibility, I warned my idiot vet. Thanks a lot.
