Brain games or training. Hide treats and tell him to "find it" start with easy hiding places and work to harder ones. You can also work on obedience or teach tricks.

What have you tried? There are SO MANY things. it's an endless list.
- make all feedings "thinking time" and dump food bowls. Feed by hand as reward for training. Play games (interactive games like the Nina Ottoson ones, or stuff like "go find" or "hide and seek"). when I don't have time to interact I use a kong wobber or my friend feeds all meals in normal kongs.
- walk somewhere new. I find a big difference when we walk somewhere new VS our usual walk.
- make walks training time. randomly ask for behaviours.
- teach new tricks. (Kira Sundance is a trainer with tons of books with tricks to train)
- proof old tricks
- make them work for everything (this leans towards nothing in life is free). So sit to go outside. down before you throw the ball..etc.etc.etc.
- there are many many interactive games. Some you can do with stuff at home. let me see if I can find the page.

Yes, U$. But if you sign up for the free course in the Evolutionary Anthropology Dept. online at Duke University the first two assessment games are free. Then if you want to continue the games there is a break in the price, 15% I think. I signed up for a year's worth of games which included the remaining assessment games. I think I put the links in the original thread on Dognition.
