Congrats and enjoy time flys. You saw my gigi post a while back in the next 2 weeks she is twice as tall, 24 lbs and is getting training. She got her rabies yesterday but we never worried about vaccination. As I mentioned we camp a lot and she runs into dogs of all ages and temperament.
we were camping on Salisbury beach and it must be Lab weekend .... tonnes of labs all swimming on the pet beech and playing with gigi a few weeks back.

Petco has free socialization 1/2 hr sessions .Big and Small puppy groups. take violet. they learn more than from us.
Gigi is during training at petco . My 5 yr old is excellent in training who knew. he has gigi doing sit , down, stand , settle , take a treat without reaching and look better than me .. My wife ofcourse is with him and have the gigi under control.
4 weeks ago I had to help her from floor to car seat, now she jumps from the ground into the suv and sit on the car seat...

Do not loose heart with the never ending nipping and cleanup patch happens and seem to go on for weeks when it was only a few days.

our last dogs are all have been "leave it" command immune , gigi behaves like she got shot when we say leave it. She even waits till we command her to eat with the bowl in front of her.

    enjoy time flys

Hey. Made it thru the first night. Got 4 hours of straight sleep. Not much crying when she went into crate. She is going potty outside for the most part. She is now 16 lbs. trying to figure out her routine. But feed this morning at 6:30. So cute. Trying to get the picture thing down but having issues. Quickly finding out what we didn't puppy proof. Lol.

funny how one minute she is running around and playing with everything and then she just drops and goes to sleep. I have been leaving her where she lays down. Should I move her to the crate when she does that?

Rooney is the same way in regards to drop and sleep. I have just been letting her sleep wherever at home and when she is at work with me I have her sleep in her crate, either way doesn't seem to affect her. Oh, except at night then she is in her crate in Jada's room, I am finally back in my own bed-YAY!

Potty training is going okay. She's got pooping outside no problem but she doesn't always empty her bladder all the way so sometimes she will go out to pee and then come inside and pee more 15 min later. At night time she is great so it is a work in progress.
