    Miss swimmie social butterfly!

HI... we have been out on our pontoon almost every weekend getting Amie used to the ride and to swim. Swimming is her passion as well as Sophie's. We discovered how much she loves to swim and greet!! We anchored in a shallow area where other boats come to anchor and swim and hang out. Beautiful clear bay water with sandy bottom.. and just enough to have our girls touch bottom. Both have great life jackets. Well, Amie is still learning to jump from the ramp we attached to our boat... so she barks until we put her in. Well.. she zeroed in on a family quite a distance away and began to swim with tail wagging hard to see these boaters who have many children. I walked along side her to see the outcome. The people were so amazed and overjoyed to see her.. and Sophie was swimming behind us with my husband beside her walking. Amie licked the babies' faces while I held her paws.. they still scratch in the water.. and one little boy just hugged on both of them. Clearly both our girls loved all this and so did the boaters. Then we walked away and Amie zeroed in on another boat with also children.. both were begging their parents afterwards for a yellow labbie. One little girl just kept giving kisses to Amie... Sophie was fine with it as well.. kissing everyone. I also gave a warning about sharp paws and tried to keep them from pawing on others. They both swam hard on Saturday and after nice baths... and dinner.. they slept like rocks until the am... my hubs and I got to eat our dinner without our audience. Just wanted to give a happy report.

Sounds like a wonderful day for everyone. Nothing like a loving labby to make new friends.
