Thoughts on on stopping it. I don't have a toy in my hand when she jumps on me after my husband releases her from her crate in the morning. Ignoring doesn't work when she's grabbing your arm or foot, sometimes painfully.

It is clearly excitement, not aggression, but it still hurts! Any thoughts?
what I'm seeing here is a lot of pent up energy in her. Your puppy needs to be calmed down before releasing her from the crate.

Gigi has started round 2 .she is 7 months and big now. I am in india travelling and she is not getting her usual walks .my wife says she refuses the harness and on the collar is pulling alot.told my wife to not to take her for walks till i return.
so we hope it's all pent up energy that is all . She is 60 lbs and ofcourse it hard to see how she will be as she is a lab German Shepard mix . Next time I getting a pure breed lab when we are ready to add in a few years.
She is very very mouthy and my wife poor thing is at her wits. She is off to day care today as she was spayed 2 weeks ago to get that pent up energy out.
3 more days till is return then we starting agility or nose work alot of walks ,dog parks and one day care day ....

We are waiting for the mellow dog we enjoy we see when she has alot of activity and is tried .
