Jules is your heart dog. You will always be connected to him. And he took a little slice of your heart with him and when you cross the Bridge, he will give it back you.

Jules may have left your arms, but he'll never leave your heart.

With heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your beloved companion.

I'm so sorry for your loss. When you mentioned not wanting to go home b/c you know he's not there to greet you, that really struck me. I think that is how I will be when I lose Tux, who is my first dog and my heart dog. I'm so so sorry for your pain.

Losing a beloved dog can be as profound a loss as the loss of a human. I've sent 9 Labs over the Bridge, and the loss of everyone hurt down to my core. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't think of each and every one of them. All I can tell you is the pain lessens with time, but the memories never ever leave. Don't be embarresed to grieve for you Jules. He was a significant part of your life, and he loved you without condition. It's normal to feel some guilt that maybe you could have done more. Believe me I know. But in the end, allowing them to pass with dignity is the ultimate act of love, this we owe them for the love they give us.

I am very, very sorry for your loss.

How can you emotionally handle doing this so many times? I know that I eventually want another dog but I'm scared of letting him go again. I just keep replaying the doctors words in my head "his heart stopped. He's gone. " 😭
