    Bear

Bear my Yellow Lab went to Rainbow Bridge to be with his best friend Duke. Bear was special from the day he was born as he was the only pup. A one dog litter , and having first pick of a male it was not a difficult choice which one we were taking home. Bear did not let anything slow him down not even the 5 inch gash along his ribs, or the fish bone stuck in his mouth, or the 2 times he was skunked. He always waited for Duke to try something first before he tried it for example when we walked the frozen creeks in the winter and duke fell though Bear knew to walk around. In other occasions Bear had to get back to my truck before Duke so that he could challenge Duke to get in the truck. When Bear was younger he loved pulling me on my bike he did not stop for much, and sure I was a little crazy for letting him, but I always kept my brakes in good working order. Thank You Bear and Duke for the many years of unconditional love you showed me. RIP Duke 12\15\16 & Bear 2\20\17 Labs forever-picture-581-jpg -picture-541-jpg It has been very hard to lose both of my best friends in the last two months. I'm more of an introvert, so my dogs were my life, my buddies. I have no more dogs.

I'm so sorry. It's hard enough to lose one, but two in such a short period....

Rest in Peace, Duke and Bear. Run Free, boys!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my near 17 yr old kitty in May of last year and just lost my near 15 yr old kitty two weeks ago. They were my first two fur kids. Got them each at 7-8 weeks old. My fur kids are my life too. It isn't easy. So sorry you lost them so close together.. I lean on all the wonderful memories to get me through. I hope the pain eases soon for you....

I'm sorry to read about your loss of both Duke and Bear so recently and so close together. It sounds like you have some great memories of both of them.
