I’m saddened to hear of Rosie’s death and the seizures preceding it. My very first dog was a boxer whose death followed several seizures. I was 9 years old and there was no emergency vet to take her to. I just wished we could have ended her suffering with the same love you all could. Farewell sweet Rosie.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Rosie has spent the last few years comforting me after medical treatments, I only wish she wasn't so good at hiding all of hers. Poor Salem keeps looking for Rosie, she searches the house and the yard, cries and howls for her, it's so sad.
