Old pictures sure brings them back

The other day we were arranging different things and in doing so I found some discs with pictures. Opie is my first lab so none are labs but these are all still part of me and are memories that live on although they are over the rainbow bridge.

This is old Bufurd. Bufurd was a UKC purple ribbon American Black and Tan Coonhound. I loved this dog. He was my trackin hound. I laid Mtn lion scent for Bu' and he would bellow out a huge bey and take off. He was incredible.

This is Guëro. He was a little chihuahua. He was my pard, he went everywhere with me. He was killed by a Mohave Rattlesnake.

This is Stupid. That was his name although he was quite smart. He would attack rattlesnakes and kill them in short order, he was so incredible at killing them. Stup would grab them and shake his head slinging head and fangs one way, rattles another and snake gut yet another and man I'll tell you, you better get the heck out of the way. Stup attacked and killed the rattler that killed little Guëro. He started slowing down in his older days and would get bit because of it. Stup was my Jeep buddy, he loved wheeling in the desert. He also loved the quad. He would never come inside, not even when it was hot. He preferred outdoors. He also would do a stupid silly happy dance in the driveway whenever we'd pull in. That happy dance is missed so much by myself and DW

Great pics. It's heartwarming when you get to the point that looking at old pics finally brings back the memories without the tears. I remember your stories about Stupid, too, and loved his quirky name.
