    Remembering Maddy....

We're soon coming up on the two month mark of losing our Maddy.

The other day I thought I saw her waiting for her dinner. When I looked again, it was just Jed. But he loved Maddy. I think he was channeling his "inner Maddy."

    I miss my smart girl!

I'm sure it has to be hard on a day like today. May your special memories of her bring a smile to your heart.

I still feel Quinn sitting in his favorite spot watching me, then I look and he's not there... :-(

So sorry. Their brief lifespans really are their only flaws.

I'm a strong believer in spirit sticking around especially if they left in an untimely manner or they feel there's some unfinished business.
Every once in a while I still call Abbie's or Cheanna's name by mistake, I have to stop and gather myself. After I say hi and tell them I love them and miss them quietly.

I think I see chief too sometimes. I have dreams of him that are so real, I have to remember where he is. DH cries weekly for him. Maddy was a special girl.

Anniversaries, especially recent ones, of our departed pups are difficult to get thru. Maddy was so blessed to live her alotted time with you and she enjoyed all her days.
