    Thanks everyone for your condolences and thoughts for my beloved boy. His ashes came home on Thursday and am so glad he is home, but was very emotional receiving his ashes. The specialist hospital treating him sent me a very beautiful flower arrangement last week along with a very poignant card and have also received some other lovely cards and beautiful emails and messages on his loss. Miss him terribly

    I'm very sorry for your loss. I lost my last dog to lymphoma. He was in chemo too but when he stopped responding went downhill very fast. He was about the same age as Toby. I was heartbroken at the loss of my boy. So much of my time was spent focusing treatments, dispensing meds, etc. it took a long time to get over the feeling I was forgetting to do something and he was actually gone. Take comfort in knowing you gave him a fighting chance to beat the nasty C. RIP Toby.

    Again...I am so very sorry for your loss of your beloved Toby. Picking his ashes must have been so hard...but hopefully it gives you a sense of closure and he is home with you again...
