      Fall food

What says fall food to you? Mine is homemade apple fritters. I use my grandmothers recipe and only make them in the fall.

Pumpkin anything and apple anything. Last weekend we went to Teavana and got some very delicious pumpkin spice tea. Yum. Yesterday I picked up a jug of Apple cider.

Yesterday was so beautiful here with the leaves changing colors and a few here and there falling to the ground as we walked home.

Home made baked beans is a fall tradition at my house, carried over from my Mum. Home made apple pie for dessert.

Pumpkin pie and just about anything with cinnamon in it.

Homemade beef vegetable soup is a fall favorite. Make a huge amount and freeze, using throughout the winter.

I second the baked beans! Also, stews and anything in the crock pot.

The moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life -- the sick, the needy and the handicapped. -Hubert Horatio Humphrey, US Vice President (1911-1978)
