You more than welcome to send some my way Can you freeze them once they have been baked?
DD gave me a starter for Amish friendship bread about 2 months ago. Every 10 days you end up with 4 starters and one more to make two loaves of bread. It's a sweet bread, easy to make and can be done in a variety of flavors. After giving away all I could, still ended up with more than I could handle.
From days 1-5 all you do is mash the mixture in a plastic bag. Day 6 add sugar, flour and milk and mash. Mash again on days 7-9. On day 10 add more flour, sugar and milk, separate the starters. To the one to be made up, add eggs, more flour, sugar and milk, oil, (I used half oil and half applesauce) flavoring, baking powder, baking soda, salt and a large package of instant pudding mix. Bakes an hour.
Today spend the day baking and using up all but one of the starters. Have a vanilla with cinnamon sugar topping, lemon, chocolate with mini chips, and strawberry. With the last starter, will wait the 10 days and make a pistachio one then I'm done. It's addicting and I hate to throw some away but you can only have so many.

Give some of the batter to your friends so they can start some or bake that batter.

My nose is high in the air, breathing in DEEP heavy breaths of that heavenly smell, Fresh baked bread with a little butter or dipped in some really good gravy or covered with homemade grape jelly or just torn open while hot and pop a large piece in your mouth.
Good thing I don't bake bread as I would be a roolie poolie in no time and have to go for many extra walks with Gabe-which would not be a bad thing.

Blackboy98: Fresh baked bread is on downfall too. Great Granddad used to give me fresh churned butter and raw honey. Mash that up together and put on got fresh break, YUM!
Glad to see you're enjoying your new kitchen!
