    Chocolate Mousse Frosting

I made this last night as a filling for a Devil's Food cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. It went over really really well and was very easy to make. The recipe is enough to frost an entire cake.

    Chocolate Mousse Frosting - Recipe - Cooks.com

    3 c. heavy cream
    1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
    3/4 c. cocoa powder
    Dash of salt

In a chilled bowl blend ingredients, then whip until mixture holds a peak. Refrigerate.

    Yummm, sounds good.

I don't have to bake a cake do I? Or buy one?

Not at all. It's just as good off of a spoon.

That sounds yummy! DH's favorite cake is a yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Gonna spring that frosting on him next time. Am sure he's going to love it. Thanks for sharing.

I just used the refrigerated leftovers on cupcakes and I have to say it held up really well. Just don't let it sit out for very long or it kind of melts.
