Truly understand where you are coming from bett. It is weird, as I would think seeing eye dogs, as you do, would be with their owners 24/7. But sometimes those helping the owner may get careless or not even careless? Things do happen. Just glad that it all turned out well.

The poster says "seeing eye dog trainee" which most likely means she was not placed yet.
So there were opportunities that someone was not watching her.
