Casey is a stray that was brought in The Dog Pound in Athens, AL on 10/19. She has been there a long time by the normal standards of this shelter. She is way past her hold period and TDP will euthanize for space.

More About Casey

Casey was brought in on 10-19-09 as a stray. She was held for 5 days on a stray hod in case the owners came to claim her. She is now available for adoption!! She is very outgoing!! Loves attention!! Her adoption fee is 92 dollars which pays for her spay and rabies vaccine. Please ask about our upgrade adoptions.

I'll be rocking in the dog house but hey you (and they) only live once.

And I couldn't pass her up so is beautiful and I usually only take to the black males. Mike is the sissy for the chocolate and yellow ones.

Edelle, you are a gem for taking her. She is gorgeous, can't understand while no one has taken her before now. Mike will probably melt when he sees her, who wouldn't.

Casey is being vetted either this afternoon or tomorrow morning and then headed to her foster home until transport.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of helping vet her for us.

Right now funds are empty and dogs are full.

But without giving people like everyone here beautiful dogs like this one would have died. Still not sure why she was still sitting.
