I have not heard anything
I have sent several emails today to Amy of Rudy's Rescue. Maybe she hasn't had a chance to check her emails yet today. Still crossing paws she will take Gunner.

I have a group in PA who is going to send his info to their NJ rep. Hoping something comes out of that. He certainly is posted far and wide.

Gunner

I'm trying on my end too. Seems like if it's early stage that it can be treated, right!?
I'll offer to pick him up and drive a few hours too if we find rescue!

I said he was still on petfinder. That girl that said he was adopted, must have been the one that I spoke to on the phone that told me the same thing. I can go to the shelter....but I have never had experience with HD.

I talked to the technician today at the shelter about Gunner. She said as they were neutering him, they noticed some looseness in his left hip joint. She said his case is very mild. He walks fine, goes up stairs fine, but after some activity there is a noticable limp to his left leg although its not bad. She said he is a very very sweet boy. Oh and she said he is about 3 years old (I know the perfinder ad says 8 months to 1 year).

I am waiting on word from a PA group who may TRY to go see him.
Most groups are shying away as you get different vet updates depending on WHO you speak to.

Gunner

Oh, yay...I have a client of mine who has been looking for a 2nd dog...I sent her Gunner's info and she's very interested! I'm going to call the shelter first thing on Saturday and get some answers to her questions. Cross your paws! I'll offer to pay to hold him for a bit if she is interested!!!
