Just checking who's comming!

August 1st Malden Park Windsor ON (6 minutes from the Ambassador Bridge, I timed it!)

MI residents - respond now, to be eligible for toll pre-paid!

Coaken and Sienna (wifey and sweet little girl too?)
luvmydog2much w/ Rhys and Owe'n (maybe a few very furry labs AKA huskies, too)

We're official now... the first INTERNATIONAL LabFest!

I hope that many of our Michigan and Ontario members can make it. Matthew will be coming too... not sure about my hubby.

Now, if I could just get Cinder to mind her manners around new people...

We'll be working on that over these next few weeks.

Don't worry, Rhys and Owe'n have promised to be on their respective best behaviours...Which means Owe will only hump Cinder for a little while.

Can't wait to meet Matthew! Make sure he brings his frisbee throwing arm!

BTW... I PM'd John and Jeannie to ask that they put a sticky on this thread. Should we/I post something in general chat to get the Michigan/Ontario members to look here? I like the link you put in your signature... I think I'll mention it in mine too.

I might be coming. We would come by boat and stay at the Windsor Yacht Club. What kind of documentation is needed to brings dogs into Canada?

When we brought sienna home from the breeder in MI all they wanted was to see the immunization records (rabies and so on) this link might be helpful.

Melissa - Thank you.

We are on vacation that week and I am not sure if Opal is going with us. We are thinking about letting her spend 2 weeks with her trainer to get her more prepared for her first hunt test taking place on August 8th. Butchie if he is still with us would go to my parents house. So I will let you know what we decide. I would love to meet you all.

Okay, we just got back from vacation and got my message from Christine J...the date is open in my calendar and I would like to come. I don't know yet about dh and the girls (Abbey, 7 and Alyssa 4 1/2).

What time? Are there more details (grilling pits, etc.)?

I don't suppose that there will be any lab fests in the mid to mid south US. If so I would like to attend. Canada is a bit far from here and we will not be able to attend.
