Put Abbey on Raw diet two weeks ago. (4yo, 70 lb. English Lab)
She gets 1/2 Cup of ground beef plus green beans, yogurt and pumpkin 2x day. Gets NuVet vitamin in the morning.
Working through...
She is good to go for the past two weeks.............
Tested Abbey for food allergies. Environmental allergies still kicked her butt. She started Apoquel last week. She is back to normal and happy.
We thought that too because on Christmas Day, she was active and blowing off a few days of cabin fever. We have limited her ability to go full Lab since then..........frustrating.............
Was he tested for food allergies? Our Abbey was found to be allergic to duck, pork, rice, corn and soy. We were feeding her duck and brown rice. Also...there are incidents of cross allergies with...
Our Abbey (3.5 Y/O black Lab)woke up Sunday,20 December lame on her left front paw. Her paw was sore and if you touched her one toe, she let out a scream. Took her to the Vet on Monday. Took X-Rays....
Sorry for your loss.
I mixed Skin So Soft with a little Citronella Oil and water. I spray it on my hand and wipe on her head and her rear end. Works.
Our Abbey swallowed a sock. We watched her to ensure she still "pooped". She threw it up several days later.
Could be food allergies. Was in our case.
Abbey had chronic ear issues. Had her tested for food allergies and switched her food. She still loves to get wet, we still clean her ears 1x per week, but her ears are 98% better.
Abbey and I are back.................
