The OP didn't say it was already done, the way I was reading it sounded like they wanted the money for the dog and an extra 500 to get it altered. Maybe I read it wrong lol.

Just my opinion, but that seems kinda high for an older dog.
I would think the breeder would have the dog altered BEFORE placing it in another home. It would be in the breeders best interest I...
