Regardless, you should go to the interview. You can hash out the pros and cons once you have been offered the job. Right now, take the interview and see what happens.
Say it's a follow-up on your health issue. It's really none of their business and as long as you are making up your work somehow, covering for others, etc., it should not be a problem.
