Haha, the problem w/ that is I may have to move so I have some good technical water to train on. I sure don't have the $$$ for pro training at $700+ / mo. :p

But they are claiming it is fitting to replace the Stays. That's my biggest gripe about it. I too would give my dogs a Wait when leaving them to do signals. Hence, it's not a stay....
Totally agree except the one part..... to ME, STAY means STAY. Don't move a muscle when I'm away from you. So a position change (signal type exercise) w/ handler at distance doesn't truly fit that...
Yes, there is an obedience advisory committee. They allowed feedback several months ago.
Poorly written document. I have NO idea what they are proposing on the Stand, Sit, Down thing, do you Annette? Neither does the one local obed judge. Some people think it's a signal type exercise...
