Tegan was very skinny when we got her at 10 weeks and was around 12 pounds. She's 6yo now and 70lbs. As others commented, sounds like he isnt getting enough food intake.

Welcome :)
I tried HK and raw with my dog and she wasn't able to handle it. Obviously all dogs are different. Her stool just never firmed up and it was HUGE.
Thank you everyone for the info. I haven't been able to find a breeder locally that doesnt have mostly show lines. No offense, but some of the more showy Labs I've seen just dont seem to be the type...
I have looked at local breed clubs NJ, PA, New England area, and VA area.
I really want a performance dog for agility, rally, nosework and perhaps tracking. I can't seem to find a breeder that does both ends of the field.
Very true. Thank you for your input!
Oh, thanks! This is perfect! Do people typically not buy a puppy from a field line breeder that doesn't have titles?

Its been a little over a year since we lost Bliss. I am just starting to look for another dog. I know all about what to look for with a more show/conformation breeder. However, are health clearances...
Thats so exciting! I recently got selected to be a brand ambassador for Subaru :) If anyone has facebook, feel free to follow my page. I'll be doing giveaways and contests soon....
Not too bad yet. 30s.
I adore your pics!
Is there a tag we should use for the board?
Hard to believe Tegan was 5 years old around Thanksgiving! Here she is enjoying life (with my parents 6yo adopted yellow Labrador).

Thanks for the info! The group I belong to said the largest peanut of the Isokinetics brand isn't big enough for a Lab. Its fine for your dog though?
Has anyone used FitPaws products for conditioning or body awareness exercises? I am looking for some input if they're worth buying or is there something better out there or DIY. Thanks!
See my issue with doing 100% raw is that in the past she's never been able to tolerate it (diarrhea).
I have a 4yo dog. Great coat, ears are never dirty, excellent weight. She's always had what I think of as a sensitive stomach. Typically once a month she will have a 1-3 day period of horrible...
