It should really just resolve without too much intervention. It will look angry, but will start looking better once the sutures start to dissolve and pieces will eventually spit out of the open...
Looks like his skin doesn't like the sutures. I wouldn't be surprised if a little suture material started poking through those inflamed areas. Looking forward to hearing what the vet has to say!
So terrible! I'm so sorry for your loss.
Raw.
Ugh. Enough of that flu! We were in Chicago about a week and a half ago and I was surprised by how many dogs I didn't see out and about.
I discouraged that behavior because I didn't want Theo to develop an obsessive tail chasing issue. By discourage, I mean that I would distract him with something else when he started it. He's...
Cute. It was funny that the dog was normally sedentary. I guess it was just her day to show them what she had.
Theo says "Get Well!"
Little does he know that his turn is just months away.
Maybe it's just too much time in the crate. From what I'm reading, she is in there during the day while you are at work (since it is so cold) and then again at night. I'm not sure how much gap...
Maybe an epidermal inclusion cyst. We see some of those in the OR. They seem to be self-limited for the most part. They may get inflamed, but most patients want them off because they are unsightly....
Great to hear!
So cute!
Good luck!

I don't believe in neutering to correct what I see as behavioral and oversight problems. I know that he steals right in front of you, and I know that is frustrating. Believe me, I know from...
I cannot say what is causing your dog's soft stools, but I do know that many factors could be involved. Treats, peanut butter, and even an excess of regular kibble can cause soft stools. Even...
I would adjust his portions according to proper body condition, maybe leaning very slightly on the plump side as he grows. I wouldn't want to see ribs, but I would want to be able to feel them. ...
If he is a chewer AT ALL and you value your dog and/or your car, I would strongly recommend crating him. If I were to try to put Theo behind a barrier (which I have used in the past with other dogs...
I usually bribe with a cookie when I am in a hurry and want to get back in. He always, always comes for a cookie. "Do you want a cookie? Inside!" And he comes like a bolt of lightning.
When...
You may want to check with your breeder about that. I know I'm on contract not to neuter Theo before 18 months.

Theo is one of those puppies that would get overstimulated or tired and turn into a holy terror. He has never has the ability to just go lie down and sleep somewhere in the house. He needs...
That really stinks. If you have Apple Care, they will replace the phone for $79.
Congrats!
Pissed? Seriously? This is a dog-related forum, nice for networking with other dog owners and a great place to seek advice. But, as far as I'm concerned, nothing on here is vital to my functioning in...
