    Thor says:

I'm the most perfectest dog ever! Except when I smell something really really good on the ground, sometimes I forget to listen. I think when my sniffer is engaged it must take energy away from my ears. But other than that I'm a good boy. Well, sometimes I like to invade personal space a little too much, but I just like people a lot, you know? My vet (I love my vet) calls me a "very exuberant greeter", so I don't see what is wrong with that. Oh, and sometimes I like to break into the pasture and roll around in cow poop. The cows don't mind, I don't see why mom does. But really, Santa Paws, I'm a very very good boy.

Brooks would like to speak on Thor's behalf. So I'm turning the key board over to him.

Hey Thor!!! Brooks here. Just wanted to tell you that you're an inspiration and a bastion of Labradorness!!! There is no way Santa Paws can hold you accountable for these grossly minor indiscretions. After all we Labradors have a long and storied history of not only bringing all manner of game to hand, but to being the most lovable yet obnoxious clowns in pursuit of making our humans smile. Who'd have ever thought the humans would be even mildly amused when we stand on the dishwasher door and make sure we got ever last molecule of food off their plates. Or when we lift our leg to squirt the wall at training class. While they may be woefully inept at cleaning their plates, they do have their place. Well at least until I learn to drive the car. Trust me buddy, Santa Paws couldn't care less that you roll in cow poo every now and then, heck I think he'd even be happy if you left a little cow pie with his milk instead of the normal cookies! Merry Christmas buddy!!!!

Santa Paws will put you on the good boy list but remember, Santa Paws has elves watching! So Thor, what treats and surprises would get that butt wiggling and tail moving?? Santa is on a mission to get you some goodies!!!

    Thor says:

Thanks for the backup, Brooks buddy! I was sweating it there for a while! High paw-five!

I, like all of the labradors of the world, am not snobbish about my treats. I've never turned an edible item down! Well, except broccoli. And green beans. And peas. I don't like green vegetables, I take after my dad that way. I also take after him because I like beer, but he never pours me my own and takes his away from me when I try to drink it. I don't think that's very nice, every once in a while I get a lick of foam and think I deserve my own glass. Mom feeds me the tasty vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes, but I always prefer cookies. Especially crunchy cookies that mom and dad can hide in toys. I like making a ruckus and throwing those treat toys around! The only thing they won't let me have are soft toys. Apparently you're not supposed to tear them apart and eat the stuffing, but what's the point otherwise? I don't get it.

And Santa Paws? When you get here can we play a game of tug? I ask everyone who comes to my house to play with me and my slobbery ropes. I'm sad when people say no. You'd play tug with me, right?

Ho Ho Ho Thor! This is Elf Yogi here. Yogi, that's me, wants to let you know I packed Santa Paws sleigh and your goodies are on the way! I think I should tell you I got so excited with one toy and got confused and thought Santa Paws bought it for me. Santa Paws got it from me before I went too far. I think you will enjoy it a lot, I sure did, for that one minute! Please tell mom and dad that the package with the red bow is for them, they should open it. Have fun Thor and tell mom and dad to take a picture of you opening one of those gift so you can send it to Santa Paws and me! Be a good boy!

    Santa paws came today!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!

But my super mean mom is making me wait to open my presents until Dad is home. I have noooo patience! Good thing she was doing her Christmas baking today and she made me doggy Christmas cookies, I don’t think I’d let this slide otherwise.
