Ho Ho Ho Mardi and Archie!!!

    We are Santa's Elves,
    Filling Santa's shelves.
Making toys for good girls and boys.
    Oh, we are Santa's Elves!!!

Hello Mardi and Archie!!! This year we are your elves, too!!! There are 2 of us, even though "one of us" signed us up as a single elf (the big dummy!) (I am not! Mommy says I am good and just too excited to remember to include you!)

Your Mom claims you have been very good this year and are looking forward to a visit from Santa. We have been dispatched to scout out what things you would like. We have some ideas but if there's anything else you want us to make for you, here in our dog house, I mean workshop, please let us know!

And, just for fun, you get to tell us if your Mom has been good this year, too! Does your Mom have any favorites in the food, colors, activities department? We know she does lots of nice things for other people, so if we can send her something just for her, we want to do that, too!

We are happy to be your elves this year! There are 2 of us and we are both the same kind of elf, but one of us is naughty and one of us is nice!

From the North Pole, over and out!

YIPEE - so excited to hear from you! Promise, we have been good. Don't listen to what Mom has to say sometimes, we think she misinterprets our intentions.

Mardi here: Oh Archie, what were you intentions with the toilet paper incident?
Archie here: Just helping Mom when she needed it! It was kinda fun.

Mardi here: I love, love opening the presents. I get so excited I forget that my old bones get tired. Last year I taught Archie how to do it and he didn't do so bad. I'm not a big toy player but do love anything that holds a treat or then again, anything that is a treat. Mom doesn't let me have real hard stuff cause of my old teeth.

Archie here: Mom says my middle name is squeaky toy - they are my favorite. I'm really not too hard on stuffies but I do like to take arms and legs off. I'm good, I don't eat them. Sometimes I like my squeaky toys better than a treat. Mardi just shakes her head at that. And I like playing tug with Dad.

Mom here: You are so sweet to include me. Anything would be fine. I do love crafty stuff. Guess for colors, prefer the jewel tones in blues, greens and brown. And who doesn't love a good caramel.

OK Mom, you had your turn. We're so excited and can't wait. We promise to try to be good pups.

    Hi Ho Mardi and Archie!

We are just stopping in to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We were supposed to go in Santa's sleigh today to visit our cousin elf and her family. One of us got the throw ups last night and Santa didn't want anyone getting sick in the sleigh. We wanted to go for a ride because it was sleigh weather today but we will be happy to ride in the sleigh tomorrow when Santa is sure everyone is feeling better.

We hope you and your family have a lovely Thanksgiving with lots of family and fun! (And maybe some yummy nibbles!)

Oh no! Maybe all the excitement of going for a ride in the sleigh was a little much. Sure hope there are calm tummies in the morning.

Mom has been busy all day getting what she calls a brunch together for tomorrow. She kept telling us we would have to be on super good behavior cause a lot of humans are coming over. It was hard to listen cause she was making all kinds of yummy foods.

You have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

    Hi Ho Archie and Mardi!!!

Santa has been after us to check and make sure you guys are still being good little puppies. We said we are sure you have been good. When he asked if we'd actually checked, we told Santa that we are implementing a work slowdown because he won't let us taste test the treats he says are yours! Really, we are weak from working so hard and we think Santa is being unreasonable. We only need a tiny lab, umm, we mean elf-sized taste! Four or 5 each should suffice for now.

So, we are loading things up and soon your surprises will be coming to you. If you think you see a star in the east, it is just the headlight on Santa's sleigh and it is coming in your direction. From the east, get it?

Santa, promise we have been being good.

Mardi: Mom and Dad got down on the floor and snuggled with me yesterday and I loved it! Then, there was a buzzing sound and a tingling in my paw nails. They were trying to trick me but I knew what they were up to. I tried real hard to be good. Mom keep calling me a good girl and Dad kept giving me a belly rub. I tried real hard to hold still, really. Mom says they will finish up today. I'll try to be good again today because they do give me treats afterwards.

Archie: Have to admit Mardi, you were pretty good. I did see you as I peeked around the door. Santa, has a little incident yesterday and it really was not my fault. Went outside and ran and ran and had a great time. It was not my fault that the ground was muddy, although it did feel good between my paws. Dad let me in, I butt tucked into the living room, Mom yelled and I ended up getting a foot bath. This time I did stand still (well almost).

We are so excited for you to come. Promise we won't bark when you sneak inside. We think it's OK to test any goodies; hey, that's quality control. Will be looking toward the east for that special star.

    Hi Ho Mardi and Archie!!!

We just wanted to give you a little preview of what Santa will be bringing you!

Santa let us put presents on his chair! Mardi's presents have a picture that looks like her on the paper. We couldn't find paper that looks like Archie, so his have cartoon doggies on them. There might be some yummy treats there that we hope you can share with each other, since Santa wouldn't let us share them ahead of time! One of us is supervising everything, as you can see.

Oh WOW, Santa! So many goodies! Both of us are hopping around, excited. We'll be sure to be especially good.

Love the "inspector" making sure everything is just the way it should be. Mom says she wants to give that sweet nose a kiss.

Santa came! Santa came! Look at all the goodies!

Mom says we have to wait to open the prezzies - UGH! She says Dad is taking some kind of test tonight and it's only fair to wait so he can see all the fun.

    Dang it's hard to wait.
