he thinks that noise is so cool, but the weird bouncing has him guessing! He's got a yellow squeaky tennis ball kong, but haven't seen those ones. i've had to put the dokken up (actually in his field bag), he kept tossing it, and the head was making quite the racket! we'll definitely be taking it to field training saturday!
    Thanks again!

Wow, I don't think I've ever even heard of a dokken. Then when I tried looking it up there was something about a metal (rock) band!?!? I don't think that's it. That's a cool idea for someone who hunts ducks with their dog! Learn something new every day. Looks like Scout got the perfect package! Good work, everyone!

Happy to see Scout maintains a boneyard, too. Darn, those things hurt when you step on them!

hehehe! the boneyard....oh ya, lots of dead cows' legs there for sure! i go thru and thin out the bones every week or so, or we'd be buried in them! as it is, thats a lot of weight of bones to put out every week! and the sad, sad look i get when i'm gathering them up to put out....i never take all of them at once, just so the poor boy isn't deprived....

My understanding is that "dokken" is actually the brand name of one manufacturer (and came from the fellow's name that made them) of training dummies. It is a well known brand/name, and yes these were the perfect gifts for Scout!

I didn't get a picture (boo, me! phone was in the truck, and we were working a field over), but Scout (and a few others!) retrieved his new dokken today! Thanks again!
