We have always used Derramaxx or tramadol which Sarah is on now. I hope you find something to help Molly feel better.

Our Lab is super sensitive to meds and will take the first couple of doses and then refuse after that. The only prescription one he didn't refuse during his last TPLO recovery was gabapentin. We have also started him on a different supplement. We have used many and often I didn't see any difference. For example turmeric, green lipped muscle powder, salmon oil. The one that I noticed a difference with is called Joint Health Formula for Horses. It's a powder that we sprinkle on his food. It's made by Springtime Inc Natural Supplements for dogs, horses and people. We were giving him the ones for dogs and they said you could increase the dosage. We also use the natural garlic from this company and it's the same one for both dogs and horses which got me looking at the horse products. The Joint Health Formula is a super dosage (see below). We just give him a much smaller amount but it's more than the dog chewable and cheaper. There is also an extra ingredient that we hadn't tried which is the Boswellis serrate extract. This product has made a noticeable difference in him with his arthritis.
Boswellia serrata extract, 65% 3,500 mg
MSM, 99% (methyl sulfonyl methane) 3,500 mg
    Carrot powder 2,675 mg
Glucosamine HCL, 99% (shellfish extract) 2,500 mg
    Chondroitin sulfate, min. 90% purity
    (cartilage extract)
    2,000 mg
