Good news! A "spot" could be a multitude of things. It may be a blood vessel seen on end, a small consolidation of normal tissue.

Sending more mojo and good thoughts.

thanks guys. After seeing how upset she was to have to go back into the room (the last\first time she was there her ears were so painful and the vet had to go in which hurt even more...) she had to be carried this time because as soon as she saw where we were headed she took off for the door twice. So now I am feeling so sad about leaving her there on the 11th for her surgery. i know they spray those calming hormones onto blankets that they place in the kennel with them to calm them, but I am certain she will have awful anxiety about being there and being without me on top of that. Poor baby. Looking forward to getting her work done and over with.

Dakota recovered rather quickly so I'm hoping China will too. The vet mentioned not wanting to keep her "under" for too long, that she may forego the teeth this time because there's so much else that needs to be done. I wonder if its dangerous the longer they're under...I probably shouldn't even think abut that because I don't need anything else to worry about. lol

Can you take a small blanket or towel with you for her kennel that would smell more like home for her?

I'm going to do that. I hope it helps her. I shouldn't anticipate the sadness but it's hard not to. First she was taken out of the only home she ever knew when I brought her home, now we're afraid she's going to think she's leaving us...
Just looking forward to having it done and bringing her home to her "nest of babies" as we call it. her bed on the floor ( still refuses to get on my bed) with a ton of stuffed animals that she gathers and places in her bed good mamma.

Maybe instead of thinking about the sadness of leaving her, think about how awesome it's going to be for her when you pick her up and she knows that she's going home with you again.

I think it can be, but they continually monitor them and can tell how they are doing while under. When Jolie had her massive surgery at 12 (removed a mast cell from her flank, a mammary tumor and had her spayed), we had agreed that the spay would be last and would only happen if she was doing well with the anesthesia. She came through like a champ - hopefully China will too!
