2 week update: Results of the biopsy on the 9lb tumor that was removed with Daisy's spleen is benign!!!!!
She close to being her normal self and yesterday was the first time I thought she may need to go on a leash as she was running around a bit in the yard.
I can't say enough about the vet that did the surgery. She has personally called 4x to check on Daisy, and then called again at 8PM on a Saturday night to inform us about the biopsy results.
I will post some pics as soon as I figure that out on here. Thanks again for the well wishes that were left on this thread

Wonderful...that's so good to hear!
Wonderful News!
Continued good thoughts and prayers for your sweet Daisy.
Ok so Daisy was doing very well and then I let her eat some pepperoni cheese and crackers. So apparently this really upset her pancreas and part of it was removed during her surgery. After a quick week of antibiotics and other pills she is good to go all be it on a bland diet the rest of her life. She is bouncing around again and I would call her whole spleen removal a successful recovery until I fed her people food. If anyone's pup goes through this procedure be aware that diet restrictions maybe needed post surgery for ever. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind. The food she eats is a Gastronomic something or other that purina makes. 60-70 dollars for a 18lb bag but worth every penny to keep the pup feeling good. Next update 1 month out
I'm glad to hear she's still doing well! Poor girl won't be sharing any more Super Bowl snackage but I suspect it's easier to control our pups' diets than it is to control our own! Speaking only for myself, of course!
