Poor girl, as long as she's fairly healthy and it's bothering her, I would definitely opt to have it removed. Sending good thoughts!

I would do it too if blood work shows she's healthy. I so take into account the length of time they are under anesthesia. My vets have said that in senior dogs surgery is safer the less time they are under. So it probably wouldn't be a long surgery and give her a day to metabolize everything I bet she will be fine 😉 and more comfortable too 🌻

My Leeloo is 13 1/2 and she just had an infected cyst removed from her foot two week ago. It's healing fine, but the results was that it was cancer, so we have to keep an eye on her. Earlier this year she also had surgery on her anal glands, she is completely healed from that. Unfortunately I noticed a growth on her eye, it's on the eye lid, just an extension of her lid. Just a black tab. Hopefully it doesn't grow further.

If her blood work comes out fine, I would definitely consider the surgery.
