    Exfoliation tool?

I need to exfoliate Ram's back because he has greasy dandruff. We've been to the vet, we've done antibiotics, bloods tests, and he's been shampooed at the vet's a couple of times with oatmeal shampoo. I have ordered this shampoo Pet Shampoos : Amazon.com: SynergyLabs Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiparasitic 16 fl. oz. which should be delivered on Friday to take with me for his bath on Saturday at the vet's office.

The greasy dandruff sticks like crust on his skin so I would like to remove as much as possible before Saturday to get the most out of the shampoo. I can only wet him down with a spray bottle at home so I can't use anything that needs to be rinsed so sea salt is out. I'm thinking like a loofah type of thing. Any ideas that won't hurt him?

Coleman had the same thing going when he got older, I used the comb I had for Bailey to get through all his hair. I looked more like a rake with long teeth with space between the teeth to get down to the skin.

They sell round whozits for people to use on their scalps...I'd recommend one of those. (look for one that seems to be the softest)

I use a soft boar's bristle brush on mine but I don't know if that applies in this situation. Just putting it out there.

I would use something along the line of baby oil and a flea comb to soften and loosen the greasy dandruff flakes, then your shampoo. Poor Ram, I hope the baths help him
