    Good Thoughts Please?

Not a good weekend. Rock is just low in the back. Scaled back his “walks”. He had three poops accidents fri-sat morning but clean since (going outside again). Sat he didn’t get up much. Today a bit more.

I am very bummed. We need a bounce back. His lows are lower and longer though. the “ups” not as up.

We see the vet on Friday (pre-scheduled apt for treatment/check-up)

Sending along lots of hugs, prayers, and positive thoughts that Rocky will rally and be o.k for a long time yet. It is so hard, watching them get old. Really, it is the hardest thing. He looks like such a precious, distinguished older fellow.....In the top picture, he has such a wise, calm, and loving gaze.......please give him a hug for me.

When Jet started to have poop accidents (much, much easier to deal with than pee accidents) her Vet suggested a higher fibre food or imodium. To bulk up the stools so she might feel them coming on sooner and ask to go out sooner. That did work for a while. That was before I knew about pumpkin or sweet potato, now I would add those to the current food. Good thoughts for both of you. Rocky can still hear ok? Jet went quite deaf and I really think that was harder, more isolating, for her.
