I have nothing to offer except my good thoughts for Molly's health and your strength in dealing with this. I'm sorry she hasn't rallied.

So sorry, sending thoughts and prayers to you
is she isn't a fan of the kibble, you can try finding a home cooked recipe that works. the vet may be able to help. I use Hillary's blend book + supplement there is likely a recepie in there for her needs.

Thank you. So much! I'm having a lot of weepy moments. In my head I know that 13 1/2 years is a pretty good run for a Lab, but I'll never feel ready to part with her. I think I'm coming to the realization though, that we are probably going to have to go day to day now. Molly fell again this morning again right after going potty on the driveway again. She looked stiff at first, but then relaxed & went the rest of the way down, & then laid there for a few minutes until she had regained enough strength to get up again. DH knows this routine now, so he came right out to help. I had to leave all day--my dentist is about 2 hrs away & I had to keep my appointment, as it was the last one I can have while still covered on insurance. I think I cried all the way there. It was 3:30 by the time I got home, but dh said Molly had been fine all day, & she ate pretty good this evening, too. I gave her the vitamin stuff by itself in a bowl this time instead of putting it on the food, because when she doesn't eat the food, she doesn't get all the vitamin. She seems to like the vitamin fine & licked it right up. I tried giving her some of the canned beef K/D food mixed with her regular food, & she ate most of that this time. She seems to be doing fine right now. I stopped by the vet's on my way home & showed her the pictures of the "bloody snot" on our door yesterday, & she thought that was pretty weird, but she said she looked in Molly's mouth yesterday & didn't see any blood or anything. And if it did come out of her nose, she still thinks that might be secondary to the liver issue, & said that a liver going bad can cause clotting issues. So, not sounding good. She said again that the next thing to check out the liver would have to be an ultrasound, which we'd have to go to WSU for (3 hrs away) or Spokane (2 hrs away). I can't really see taking Molly on that kind of a trip right now, unless we had a more comfortable way to take her than in our car. With the weather the way it is now, DH doesn't want to drive the motorhome, & again, we probably couldn't get her up the stairs of the motorhome anyway. And the vet said "you know they would be looking for bad things, & if they found it we couldn't do anything about it anyway." She is wise, & I am grasping at straws. She said some people just seem to have to know the definitive answer, though. I know there are others on here too who are very worried about their babies too, so we all are not alone......my heart goes out to them, also......
Ditto. Having had 4 previous Lab girls die to HSA (of the spleen and heart) at senior ages, amenia and IMT scare me beyond words.

Gentle to Molly and you during this sad time.
Went stiff and then relaxed? That's what my Honey did when she was having her petit mal seizures. Any chance that's part of what you've been seeing?
There are no words to let you know how sorry I am that this is happening to Molly and you. Hugs Prayers being sent.
